Diversity Commission 2022 Community Service Day Project

Pleasant Hill Diversity Commission: Economic Diversity Statement

The Pleasant Hill Diversity Commission is committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all residents. We embrace and welcome the diverse experiences of every unique community member that make up the fabric of our city.

Based on surveys conducted in 2019 and 2022 published by Contra Costa Health Housing and Homeless Services, there are nearly 60 residents of Pleasant Hill that are homeless. Recognizing that all of our residents do not have the same means, the Commission has chosen to collect supplies to create care packages for our homeless residents as our contribution to Community Service Day. Please consider making a donation of one or more of the items listed below. We thank you for your support.

There is a bin in the front lobby of City Hall for donations and donations will be collected on Community Service Day in the park.
