Allen Vinson, Councilmember

Allen Vinson and his wife Sandy have lived in Pleasant Hill since 1977.

Allen served on the Pleasant Hill Planning Commission from 2016 until his appointment to the City Council on February 16, 2023.  He served one year as Chair of the Planning Commission and was a member of GPAC early in the process and represented the Commission on the Economic Development Committee.

Allen and Sandy served for 13 years as members of the Pleasant Hill 4th of July Commission.  He served as President for two years.  

In 2018, Allen and Sandy were recognized as Pleasant Hill’s Citizens of the Year for 2017.
