City Clerk

On November 4, 2014, City of Pleasant Hill voters passed a ballot measure to change the City Clerk to an appointed position effective December 2016 when the current elected term ends.

City Clerk staff:
  • Conduct City of Pleasant Hill elections
  • Prepare the official minutes of City Council meetings
  • Serve as the caretaker for the City Seal and official City records
  • Serve as the Filing Officer under the Political Reform Act of 1974
  • Monitor compliance with city/state campaign finance and conflict of interest laws
  • Review the processing and completion of City ordinances, resolutions, contracts and agreements
  • Administer Oaths of Office
