Overview
This is a tax-funded district of Contra Costa County responsible for the county-wide control of mosquitoes, rats, skunks and ground nesting yellow jackets.
The Pleasant Hill representative is recommended by the Pleasant Hill City Council and is ratified by the Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control Board of Trustees. Members must be a resident of Pleasant Hill. Length of term is two years for new appointees and four years for reappointed members.

Application
The City of Pleasant Hill accepts applications for City Commissions on a continuous basis. If you are interested in serving on a commission, advisory committee or board, please contact

email. The application form can be submitted at any time for any of the commissions listed on the form or advertised by the City. Once a vacancy occurs for the commission(s) that you have indicated an interest in serving on, you will be notified of the interview process by the City. Completed applications may be mailed to:
